The house, a typical 'mansion' has been renovated into a beautiful accommodation consisting of three comfortable double rooms with en-suite bathroom, a beautiful apartment for 4 people in the old house and a house for 4 people next to the house. 100 m2 with its own entrance and access to the garden
ABOUT US
Let's introduce ourselves. We are Wilfred Pol and Edwin van Rheede, but all our friends call us Ed and Fred. And we have been living for several
years now in the Logement Onze together with our Labrador Boris, who died in 2021. In 2017 we found this unique mansion in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, which had been abandoned for almost 20 years. After a thorough renovation, in which the original features have been preserved, we have succeeded in transforming the house into a bed & breakfast and a few gîtes. We are located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood with many nearby attractions to discover and explore. Our aim is to make our guests feel at home, to discover the comfort and qualities of our guest house and all the pleasure that life has to offer. All this with a good glass of regional wine under the Mediterranean sun. Oh yes .... now in 2023 a new labrador has now reported to this 'logement', his name is Ollie!

OUR ROOMS & GÎTES
Our three wonderfully comfortable bedrooms are located on the first floor in the old part of the house. The apartment for 4 people is located on the other side of the house. Charming with a large bathroom and a view of the garden and the swimming pool
Our modern cottage of nearly 100m2 is located in the old winegrowers' room and has its own entrance.

The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by a pretty terrace with sun loungers. We have towels at your disposal .
THE REGION & ACTIVITIES
The region around Raissac d 'Aude is characterized by the steep and rocky hills of the Corbières to the south and the hills and vineyards of the Minervois with the rugged black mountain in the background. In good weather you can even see the snow capped peaks of the Pyrenees. All this a few kilometers from the Mediterranean with its endless beaches, fishing villages and ports. Accommodation Onze is also the ideal stopover, located just 10 to 15 minutes from the A9 and A61 motorways and a few minutes from the main road from Narbonne to Toulouse. In addition, Narbonne and Lézignan-Corbières have a TGV station.
Nearby, just 2 km from Raissac d'Aude, is the village of Canet d'Aude with a bakery, bar, pizzeria and pharmacy. Raissac d'Aude itself has a post office and a village store open in the morning, where you can buy bread, fresh fruit and small groceries.
Raissac d 'Aude is the ideal starting point for tourist or panoramic bike rides. It is just a few kilometers from the Canal du Midi, from where you can explore the canal to Narbonne (Canal de la Robine), Béziers and Carcassonne. Narbonne is one of the oldest towns in France and an ideal destination for a day trip, the highlights being the market hall "Les Halles", the Pont des Marchands, the Archbishop's Palace, the Via Domitia, the cathedral and the Roman Horreum and for the enthusiast has transformed the house into a museum of the famous French chansonnier Charles Trenet.
In addition, a visit to one of the wine estates is essential, tasting and purchase of wine directly on the estate. Between Narbonne and the Mediterranean you will find the wine region "La Clape", the highest point of which is the fishing village of Gruissan Village with its delicious oysters and mussels. The UNESCO heritage of Carcassonne is just 45 km away. Fontfroide Abbey is a 15-minute drive away and the Sigean African Reserve is just 15 minutes south of Narbonne.
What should not be missed during your stay is a visit to one of the ruins of the ancient Cathars. It is also possible to walk (part of) the Cathar trail. A 250 km hiking trail that takes you from Port la Nouvelle to Foix along the Cathar castles.
Cellar visits
Minervois, Corbières and Clape are known for their wines. Visit one of the wineries for a tasting. Our favorite wines come from Château Camplazens .
Cultural sites
A visit to Narbonne and Carcassonne should not be missed during your stay, but what about Frontfroide Abbey, the Canal du Midi or any of the Cathar sites.

Bike rental
If you want to rent a bike, Mellow Bikes in Paraza is the best! They also have the most beautiful routes and the best advice for places of interest.
Narbonnais beaches
Over 50 km of fine sand beaches, with iconic beaches such as La Plage des Chalets in Gruissan or the beaches of Coussoules de la Franqui.
